Last night the AMV team travelled down to The Mercure Hotel in Manchester to represent one of our top north east wedding bands, Redwings, at The English Wedding Awards 2017.
We were honoured to be among so many fellow wedding suppliers, from florists to hair and make-up artists to wedding cake companies! It was so great to get together and celebrate the hard work that goes into making the most special day of someone’s life as perfect as it should be!
AMV were attending the English Wedding Awards on behalf of one of the bands we represent, Redwings, and they won Entertainer of the Year 2017!
Following years of performing at wedding venues around the country, we couldn’t think of a band that deserve it more!
Redwings are one of our best selling Indie/Rock wedding bands. Their playlist ranges from classic 90s indie songs from the likes of Oasis, Reef and Pulp right through to modern hits from Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Stereophonics and even a bit of Taylor Swift thrown in for good measure!
Redwings are not only fantastic musicians who keep the dancefloor packed all night, Rich, Scott, Ross and Will are four lovely people too. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they will always go out of their way to go above and beyond for any of their clients.
Their genuine passion and commitment to quality is why every week we receive such amazing feedback from lots of very happy brides and grooms. In fact, the band didn’t enter the awards themselves, but instead they were nominated by past clients who booked Redwings in the last year for their own wedding.
The Award Winning Redwings are exclusive to AMV Live Music. If you or anyone you know is looking for a wedding band then be sure to check these guys out here!
In addition to Redwings, North-East agency AMV Live Music also represent a collection of other talented artists and provide wedding music for clients all over the North of England and beyond, from Manchester to Aberdeen.
