Laura is a classically trained cellist having earned a BMus (Hons) degree from Birmingham Conservatoire under the teaching of Catherine Ardagh-Walter, Lional Handy and Eduardo Vassallo. During her studies she was the winner of the prestigious City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) Orchestral Scheme, as well as obtaining sub-principal position of the CBSO Youth Orchestra.
In her many years of professional playing she has performed in various ensembles and orchestras taking her all over the world from London (Royal Albert Hall) to Australia (Sydney Myer Music Bowl). Her extensive experience and training means she is able to perform various styles of music and is more than happy to make arrangements of any pieces of music to fit your special occasion or event.
