Darren Milligan
Darren is a highly experienced North East Wedding Piper as well as being accomplished in small pipes and border pipes.
Originally from Northern Ireland he now lives in the North East and is the first ever highland piper to be accepted on the well renowned folk and traditional University of Newcastle Music Degree.
Darren has a strong Scots-Irish connection and this is evident in his music repertoire which is perfect for traditional events or weddings, as well as having a few contemporary tricks up his sleeve for corporate events.
He has had huge experience on the world stage, having played at many festivals in Moscow, Delhi, Milwaukee, and New York, as well as having regular invitations throughout Europe.
Darren not only adds a musical impact to events but there is the huge visual aspect as well, whether this be in full highland dress or a more slick and sleek kilted look.
Darren can play solo, with a small folk band or a full pipe band.
