You need to be dressed smartly at your gig. Remember you are a reflection of both AMV and the Venue itself. The venue reserve the right to send you home (unpaid) if you are not suitably dressed. RUNNING LATE? If you are running late on the day YOU MUST phone a member of the AMV team so we can let the venue know. If it is outside office hours then phone our mobile numbers. An email is not acceptable as this can be missed. Failure to do this can lead to a reduction in your fee. LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS Do not cover gigs before you have spoken to someone from AMV first!!! Cancellations are becoming a serious problem for us so we are taking a much stricter approach to this. Please call us in advance if: • You feel yourself getting ill – Sniffles, colds and loss of voice rarely happen out the blue. You usually get a warning so please let AMV know as soon as you feel the symptoms so that we can place someone on standby • You foresee any changes in your calendar that could impact on a gig then let AMV know immediately, so we can put someone on standby • You are having trouble with transport or equipment. We might be able to help with some notice. If not we will cover your gig If you fail to give us enough notice to cover a gig we can end up with a no-show.
